Happy Easter to you! 

Today, I thought I would talk about a magnificent tool. It’s probably one of the most holiest of tools to bring you your freedom - and that is forgiveness.

What is forgiveness, exactly? 

Well, it’s not giving somebody a pass, but rather it’s recognizing that everything exists in the mind. Sometimes we think that the past is in some kind of time zone - back there - but no - the past only exists in the mind. So how do you let go those thoughts that might torture you? Many times, what we do is this - it’s almost like we have this bag of stones and metal that we just carry around with us - and it’s not hurting the person that perpetrated us - but rather it’s only hurting ourselves. 

There’s a great scene in this movie called, The Mission. I don’t know when it came out exactly - the 90’s or the 80’s - and this one character, Rodrigo, played by Robert De Niro is a slave trader. He captures these native indians from South America and he sells them to people in Portugal. Then, he has this revelation that what he is doing is wrong, and so he carries around this guilt and he decides for his own redemption - what he’s going to do - is to just create this bag that has metal and rocks and is so heavy - and he’s carrying it up this mountain…

and you can see for yourself when he finally lets go. 

Isn’t that a beautiful scene? I just love that scene because he’s so free. And he’s been freed by others. He freed himself. 

You know, only you can set yourself free from any pain - any resentment - any struggle. 

My friends, this is our call. We have been called to no longer participate in the struggle and the anger and the resentment of the third dimensional world, but rather to free ourselves and go higher. And to live from a place of peace of mind. That’s what the world needs right now.  

You’ve been called.
