Hello there, friends of Unity Joy of Life!

Many years ago, I was married to a dentist, and I had to go through school to become his assistant - just in case if after hours there was an emergency - I could go in and assist him. And I remember my first time. I was so nervous. The patient was in a lot of pain. I come out with all these instruments and I dropped one of the instruments, and I said, "Whoops!" My husband at the time looked at me, and then looked at the patient, and just said, "We'll be right back. We're just going to go get a couple of other things." We went into the back room and my husband at the time told me, "Do not ever use words such as 'whoops', 'there's a problem', or anything negative in front of a patient, especially if they're in pain." 

Well, that was just a good life lesson for me and I trained myself to never ever say words that would have a negative impact on anybody, especially me.  

You see, a lot of times we use these words, and words are just energetic power bombs, if you will (people feel words, right?), and a lot of times we put a stop to the miraculous because of the words we use.

In the Course In Miracles, it says, "There is no order of difficulty in miracles." 

A lot of times we stop the things that we want in life because we use words against them. Like, "Oh, there's a problem there," or "Yeah, I don't have the talent to do that," or "Yeah there's no time. I can't get that done." And we think that we're the ones that have to do everything. 

You don't have to do anything. The Universe continues to say, "Your wish is my command."  So, maybe use words this week to impact not only your life, but the lives of all those around you. Make sure that you make a positive impact on planet Earth this week. 

So that's our homework. Go forth and use your words powerfully.
