Hello there, friends of Unity Joy of Life! 

Before we get into our lesson, I just want to remind you that this coming Monday, the 17th, we're going to start our Thanksgiving meditations. And it's going to be 8 o'clock, my time, Pacific time, to 8:30, anywhere between 20-30 minutes of just magnifying gratitude for all the great things that are in each other's lives. And we're going to also just send energy to each other, lifting each other up. It's going to be very powerful. And you'll be able to find our Zoom link at www.unityjoyoflife.org and just connect on the Zoom link there. It's going to be five days from Monday to Friday, the 21st. I just am so looking forward to this. I hope to see you there. I know we will just lift each other up into just such a fabulous way of starting our Thanksgiving this year. 

Well, a few days ago, I had the opportunity to talk to a really dear friend of mine, and I wanted him to know that he ministered to me many years ago. You see, I was the minister at the Denver Church from the late 1990s to the early 2000s. And I distinctly remember this one time at a board meeting, myself, the rest of the board, not him, were going on and on about fear of our finances, where we were succumbing to this idea that our finances weren't matching our previous months. And that, you know, what were we going to do? The economy is not doing very well. Fear, fear, fear, yada, yada, yada.

And he looked at us kind of bewildered, which he should have. I'm the Unity minister that was teaching these truths. And instead, I was talking about fear. And he said, "There is always money coming in." 

There is always money coming in. 

That moment woke me up out of my fear. And why wouldn't I believe him? Because his whole life reflects, even on to this day, that very truth. He had a very successful company. And you know what, money was always and continues to always, always come to him. Because that is his truth. That is his conviction. He knows this to be true. 

So to you, Ken, I thank you. You see, my friends, the secret is not in waiting. The secret is not in hoping, but in knowing. To have a conviction, you must live as if the answers of your wishes have already come into manifestation. And to walk as if your desires have already come. It's called the law of assumption, where you assume the energy of your wish fulfilled. 

It's kind of like an actor. You know, when they put on a costume, they are putting on an energy of that role. And it's the same with the law of assumption. You are assuming what you want in your life. My friends, this is not a passive state. This is one of the most creative laws of all. 

It is the unwavering conviction. So you have this conviction in the unseen, what you have assumed, that energy that you have consumed, is more real. It's more real than what is before your eyes. However, how many of us succumb to fear? Fear of not having enough money, fear of not having a loved one in our lives, fear of not having good enough health. 

But what if you change that state? Change that state and everything will orchestrate itself to match it. Remember, the law of the universe is to match your energy. 

So what would it feel like? What would it feel like if you assumed wealth? What would it feel like if you assumed the love that you seek? What would it feel like if you assumed and brought that energy in of great health and vitality and vim and vigor? 

And watch as the world bends to meet you there. 

Now, whatever you do, whatever you do, don't surrender to doubt. Don't surrender to doubt before it unfolds. You don't have to be concerned as to how it will unfold. The "how" is none of your business. Don't try to map out the details. You know how that is. We try to analyze and figure out how and who it's going to come through. You don't need to know that. The path will form itself and you will be amazed at how your desired outcome will come in ways that you cannot even foresee at this time. 

You have to just trust in faith, and step forward, and your path will appear. 

So trust. Enfold yourself in that state of being that you want. And what you will notice is that you align yourself with the natural flow of life. 

It's a wonderful way to live. Embody the reality that you want in this moment.
