Hello there, friends of Unity Joy of Life! 

Last week I had a really interesting experience. I dropped my car off at the car wash, and I thought, "Oh, I'm gonna cross the street and get some lottery tickets".

So I got my lottery tickets, and as I was coming back I pushed the button to cross the street. There was the sign that said I could cross the street. The light was green, and I started to cross, and I looked both ways, and out of nowhere there was this woman that came barreling down in her truck, and there was this...as if someone grabbed me from behind and pulled me back. She was inches away from running me over. 

I guess that wasn't my day to leave planet earth, but I really believe that it was an angel, because I turned around, and there was no one there, and someone had grabbed me and pulled me back. 

The word "angel" or "angels" is mentioned in the Bible 290 times, and one of my favorite quotes - actually I've got two of them - one comes from Psalms 91: 4 - 5, where it says, "God shall cover you with feathers. God will shelter you with wings of armor and protection". Ah, that feels good.

Psalms 91:11 says, "For God will command angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways". Doesn't that bring comfort? These two quotes have brought comfort to millions of people. It brings a sense of peace of mind when you just know that you're being protected, that you're being guided.

No doubt for many in today's day and age, there is much to be concerned about. There's much to fear, but what I want you to remember is this - just one thing - God's law of good rules in every situation. Put your faith in that. God's law of good rules in every situation, and we can trade every worry, every fear, every concern over to God's angels that are always watching over us. 

So be assured that God is in charge.

Just put your faith there. God is in charge, and be willing to maybe call forth angels more than what you have already. Call them forward as it says, "You have not because you ask not". So ask for more angels! Angels of guidance, angels of love, angels of fun, love, and laughter, whatever that might be. Bring them forward into your life, and have your angels guide and protect you in all ways. My friends, God is greater, bigger, and even more powerful than any circumstance, any person, any condition that you might feel fearful of.

So maybe just say these words, "I am not afraid or concerned, for God's angels are watching over me". 

Let me say that again. 

"I am not afraid or concerned, for God's angels are watching over me".

I know this to be true for me and for you.
